Spectra Diversity was founded in 2016 to provide the only validated diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) assessment of both individuals and organizations. Chris’ interest in DEI stems from her past activism in social justice activities. She is a writer of all forms of media – from instructional design and blogging to SEO website copy and documentary films shown on PBS and other venues.
Spectra Diversity received recognition as Top Emerging Diversity and Inclusion Company 2022 by Manage HR magazine. Chris has written a book "Powering Inclusive Cultures: Why Measurement Matters", to be published in the spring of 2023.
A partial listing of awards includes Silver and Bronze Tellys, CINE Golden Eagles, ITVA Golden Reels and Silver Reels, U.S. Industrial Film Festival – Gold, Gold HUGO, Best Documentary - Breckenridge Festival of Film, Silver - Philadelphia Film Festival and the “Top 10 Best of Fest” at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Film Festival. She is the Past-President of the International Television Association.
