Florence Olushesan

Florence Idowu is the Chief Talent Strategist and CEO of Bavarde Talent Solutions, with a Market presence in the United States, Europe, and Africa. She is the Founder and Moderator of DEIB Small Talk, a Vodcast & Live Series housing over 1000+ Diversity and Inclusion Experts as speakers for each series, and another Vodcast called Talent & Business, bringing together Diverse Leaders in Business.

As a DEI Consultant, Florence developed the capacity to guide organizations in augmenting their DEIB policies and strategies by providing tactical training, implementing challenging initiatives, and encouraging them to embrace the ever-changing world.

With over 12 years of experience in strategic human resources leadership and consulting, I am passionate about optimizing workforce performance, enhancing employee engagement, and fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging. As the Human Resources Director at Element Electronics, I collaborate with senior executives and hiring managers across multiple locations and business units to design and implement talent acquisition, training, and development strategies that align with the company's goals and values.

Tafiq Akhir, aka Mr. Menopause

An award-winning Menopause Awareness & Healthy Aging Specialist,  Licensed Menopause Expert, speaker, author of “Making Menopause Work In The Workplace”, and host of the Mr. Menopause Show. He has over 18 years of experience in midlife hormone, health, and weight management with 9 years of experience in corporate wellness.

Tafiq helps organizations overcome many of their top HR and DEI challenges with his Mr. Menopause In The Workplace Training and Certification Programs. Tafiq was named one of Industry Era’s top 10 admired leaders of 2023, his studio “Tafiq’s Physiques” was recognized as one of “The Best Of California” health and wellness businesses on California.com, he was named one of the Top 20 Fat Loss Coaches of 2023 by the Coaches Foundation, and he’s a Crea Global Awards recipient in recognition of the creativity, innovative ideas, business adaptability, and the contributions he brings to menopause awareness and healthy aging.

An experienced DEIB practitioner and educator, Jaya Mallik centers her practice on community  engagement, data-informed insights, and empowering others to lead and innovate. She is  especially passionate about ensuring equal access and opportunities for women of color and  other underrepresented identities. Prior to launching Jaya Mallik Coaching & Consulting,

Jaya led DEI efforts at Meta, Amazon,  and Tandem Diabetes Care with a focus on the tech industry. As an expert in Learning &  Development and K-12 education, Jaya is well-versed in teaching complex concepts to diverse  audiences to ensure comprehension, connection, and action.
